Well it's already been another busy month in the life of Audrey! Our little girl is getting more smiley by the day. And she is strong! We are amazed at how much and how high she can jump in her exercisers and jumpy chair. She's also using both her hands to reach for things ... especially puppy friend Clyde, who you can see in the pictures. Audrey loves to visit him and will tip over trying to reach for him. She is curious and interested in so many things. Audrey loves musical instruments and music of all kinds. She's also been speaking her mind...she'll talk to us in raspberry sounds and coos, as well as loud screeches when she's not pleased!
Audrey went back to Anchor School for the regular fall schedule this month. One of the pictures attached shows Audrey on her first day back to school with her classmate, Logan, showing off matching sunglasses. She loves to go to Anchor to see friends and learn through playing. Soon, we'll be starting food therapy weekly at Children's Hospital. Audrey's eating a few bites each meal, but isn't eating as much as she'd need to if she didn't have the G-Tube. So hopefully, they'll give us some good ideas for getting Audrey to want to eat more. We'd love your prayers for this cause!!
We just had a nice visit from Audrey's Grandma and Grandpa Strasser. They're on their way to Indiana for football season, and we get visits each way. You can tell Audrey really knows her grandparents and loves to be with them. It was great to have live-in-babysitters for a week; we fit in all of our appointments when the Strassers come to visit!
As for our other long-distant friends, we've been enjoying teleconferencing on Skype. Audrey really enjoys it, and tries to reach out and talk to the faces on the screen.
