Thank Goodness!

We're so happy our baby is feeling better tonight! It was rough right after the surgery. She was bright red and hot to the touch...temperature 102. She was crying a sad raspy cry. The nurse gave her some good pain killer and more fluids and she is much happier. Now, she is sleeping, making her little bird peep noises. I can hardly believe that she hasn't eaten since 8:00AM! They'll feed her in the morning, when her stomach is settled. The good thing is, her procedure went really well. Her G-tube looks good, and pretty easy to use. The people here are very competent and helpful. We couldn't ask for better care!
