Happy to be Home!

We are happy to report we had a HOSPITAL FREE weekend! We are so happy to have Audrey at home and she seems pretty happy to be home. We see more smiles every day, which is always a joy. Audrey's also enjoying going to Anchor School every Monday and Wednesday. The teachers there are just amazing...dedicated and knowledgeable. They have come to feel like our local family. In the last picture, Audrey is with her teacher practicing tummy time and looking at shiny things. :) We're working on reaching for things now, too. If anyone happens to see florescent or colorful slinkys, please let us know where! Audrey really responds to these, but I can't seem to find them in the stores I've looked at.
We have our swallow study this Thursday. We're hoping for a good swallow...but will be glad to know either way if she's able to time her swallow right yet, or if we need to wait before working on that skill (if she's still aspirating).
We're excited to see Aunt Holly and Cousin Ilah, who are flying in from Montana on St. Patrick's day. It will be so fun to bond with family. Mom is already planning on projects to do while Aunt Holly holds Audrey!
On a related note...we sent out Audrey's birth announcements (finally) and realized that the birth date was printed wrong! Her real birthday is 11-30--09. I'd like to blame this on Costco, but I must admit I have mommy-mush brain and it could have been me... I tell people at the hospital Audrey's date about ten times a day...but of course I messed it up when it was on her birth announcement! I guess Audrey can have a laugh at that when she gets older and sees the evidence. I hope you all can have a laugh as well!
Well, we're thankful for all of your love and support, friends! We hope you are all well.
