Audrey and Austin Chronicle

We are excited to announce the arrival of Audrey's new brother, Austin Harrison Strasser! Mom's placenta was having complications, so she had to go on bed rest for a few weeks. The doctor decided this morning that 'enough was enough' and we'd have a C-section within the hour. Yikes! All went well, though, and we were happy to welcome Austin into the world at about 11:30. He was 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and just over 18 inches long. He is in the NICU, and doing great. He needed a tiny bit of oxygen at first, but is already off of it, and breathing fine on his own.

Audrey came in with Grandma and Grandpa afterwards, in her cute dress and big girl shoes. She is going to be an adorable big sister! Grandma and Grandpa Strasser and Harry have been taking amazing care of Audrey while Mom's been on bed rest. We're very thankful for their help. And, we're also thankful for all of the support, visits, and nice notes from all of you!
